Individuals from WSP Environmental Australia have contributed AUD$430 towards the Trekking Suits challenge to raise money to build a house for orphaned children in Nepal. Trekking Suits have dedicated Day 7 of the trek to WSP Environmental, in recognition of the considerable support. Day 7 has the theme Man Power and falls on Wednesday September 10. |

Recently, Kimberley Graham presented at the Irrigation Australia Conference in Melbourne. The 2008 Irrigation Australia National Conference, themed "Share the water, share the benefits" involved the entire value chain of the irrigation industry. Kimberley's presentation Views on Irrigation Policy in Australia and Experiences from Brazil and China is available now on the Irrigation Australia website.
Kimberley was awarded the IAL/NPSI Fellowship in 2007, based on her proposal to undertake a survey of irrigation stakeholders views of irrigation policy in Australia and to examine irrigation policy in China and Brazil. Her presentation covered the key findings from the survey of irrigation
stakeholders in Australia and discussed some interesting aspects of
Chinese and Brazilian irrigation policy processes and practice. A two page Research Update is available on the National Program for Sustainable Irrigation website. Kimberley has been invited by the Queensland Government to talk about aspects of water policy in Australia and her international experiences in September 2008.
